I'm reading this a loooooong time after you posted it, BUUUUT as usual, well-written. Short, but perfect. I think 'succinct' is the right word for this.
I roll my eyes EVERY single time I read Barkha Dutt's tweet now. In a way, can't *exactly* blame her, because it reminds me of how women are caught into patriarchy and misogyny so easily. :/ I'm pretty sure even I used to think of certain things that way. I hope she changes her mind someday.

And yes, I looked up tp Burkha Dutt and even now she's doing good work reporting on ground, even in Hathras. So I hope she learns as well.
